Tech Center Maintenance operates raw water, potable water, sanitary wastewater and reclaimed water systems for the Meridian Metropolitan District. As a result of these operations, TCM is committed to using all of our water resources as efficiently as possible. In addition, TCM provides full-scale landscape maintenance services for various commercial properties in the general vicinity of the Denver Technological Center and Meridian International Business Center.

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assisting with AP/AR duties. The Accounting Coordinator will also assist the Accounting Assistant Manager with all accounting and administrative tasks needed to maintain the daily functions of the operation. The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $29.00 per hour and the Accounting Coordinator is also eligible to participate in discretionary annual bonus plan. Job Duties

  • Coordinate and assist with daily input and administration of accounts payable and accounts receivable, to include learning and using assigned system(s).
  • Assist with utility billing system (AR).
  • Coordinate bills and invoices with Shea Properties accounting team and District accounting firm.
  • Weekly processing of Landscape and Snow Labor.
  • Generate professional correspondence, memos, reports and other documents, as needed.
  • Assist office personnel, as requested.
  • Assist with administrative components of business contracts.
  • Effectively operate phone system to assist and direct incoming calls with professional courtesy.
  • Assist internal/external customers with pleasant efficiency.
  • Other duties, as required.


Technical/Professional Knowledge (Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience)

  • 2-year Accounting Certificate or 4-year Accounting Degree, preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of computer skills including Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Timberline experience is highly desirable .
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment

The Accounting Coordinator is based in an office work location. The position is required to work regularly scheduled office hours weekdays from 6:30a.m. - 3:30 p.m. However, the Accounting Coordinator should be flexible with availability depending on the needs of the department.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, squat and lift objects.  May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
